Jumani Robbins

Jumani Robbins is Managing Counsel atChelsea FC, An experienced specialist in sports law and dispute resolution, Robbins advises on domestic and international regulatory frameworks, transfers, registrations, and governance, operating at the centre of elite football decision-making.
Alongside his role at Chelsea, he serves as Legal Counsel at Sport Resolutions and is a Specialist Member of its Panel of Arbitrators.
He also holds disciplinary and governance roles within the sport, including as a Disciplinary Panel Member for Basketball England, and has previously worked with the Independent Disciplinary Commission at The Football Association. Earlier in his career, he trained and practised at leading international law firms including Bird & Bird and Clifford Chance.
Robbins is a graduate of London School of Economics and Political Science, where he obtained his LLB, and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School. He is also the Co-Founder and Managing Editor of the LSE Law Review.
Across his work, Jumani is recognised for combining regulatory rigour with a strong commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in sport, contributing to fairer, more accountable sporting institutions.
