For nearly 40 years, BESLA has supported law students financially, through mentoring and internship opportunities. BESLA awards scholarships to deserving law students that are seeking careers in the entertainment, sports and related industries. 
 
BESLA has established relationships with law schools across the United States including at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) who help BESLA identify qualified law students. Thanks to long time scholarship sponsors, the LeBaron & Yvonne M. Taylor Scholarship Fund, the Benny and Flash Wiley Foundation, The Founders Fund, Octavius “Ted” Reid III, and many others who have contributed to this program.
