Benny Bonsu
Chief Content Officer, Olympic Channel Services

Benny Bonsu is a British Ghanaian sports media executive and Chief Content Officer at Olympic Channel Services, part of the International Olympic Committee. She is responsible for the global content strategy and editorial direction of Olympics.com across Olympic Games cycles and year-round programming. She leads multi-market teams and oversees premium, athlete-led storytelling designed to strengthen commercial partnerships and grow global audiences.


She previously made history as the UK’s first female sports editor and the first woman of colour to hold the role, launching the first women’s-only sports platform at GiveMeSportW. Her career spans senior leadership roles across international sport, broadcasting and digital media, working alongside organisations including the BBC, Sky Sports, the NBA and the London 2012 Olympic Games.


Benny operates at the intersection of sport, media and leadership. She is the founder of The Leadership Seat, a platform dedicated to developing principled, globally minded leaders through dialogue, mentorship and strategic convening.
