Lasherelle Morgan is Senior Vice President, Legal - AI Innovation & Acceleration at NBCUniversal, where she leads legal strategy around artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. In this role she shapes legal frameworks for responsible AI use through ensuring alignment with evolving laws, internal governance, and industry standards. Previously, she was Associate General Counsel at Amazon Studios, leading legal support for original programming across Latin America, Japan, and India. With over 20 years at the forefront of media and technology law, Lasherelle has negotiated hundreds of content and innovation deals spanning streaming, TV, audio and immersive entertainment experiences. She has held executive legal roles at Madison Square Garden, Audible, Viacom, EPIX, HBO, and Food Network and began her legal career in mergers and acquisitions at Latham & Watkins. Lasherelle is a graduate of Clark Atlanta University and Columbia Law School and is passionate about using technology to fuel creativity and scale impact.
