Deri Tyton is an award-winning writer, producer, director, and educator whose creative work and teaching practice center narrative depth, emotional truth, and sustainable careers for storytellers. He is the founder and lead instructor of The Film Mechanics, a screenwriting curriculum and community that guides emerging writers through a structured, accessible process from idea to finished screenplay—often offered in partnership with public library systems and community groups.
