Aurielle Brooks is a Partner at Arrington & Phillips, LLP in Atlanta, GA, where she focuses on entertainment, intellectual property and business law. Aurielle began her career by obtaining a scholarship to Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School, allowing her to plant greater roots in her hometown. Aurielle has had the pleasure of working with a wide variety of high-profile clients across the globe, that are award-winning entertainers, multi-platinum recording artists, writers, producers and more, including NBA Youngboy, Rob49, Lil Baby through his furnishing company Wolf Pack Global, Bow Wow, Keri Hilson and many others. Aurielle has become the first non-founding Partner of her firm following bringing her own book of business from the inception of her career which has now grown substantially. Some of the most notable names Aurielle has played an integral role in bringing to the firm are Sexyy Red, Dreezy, NoCap, DC Young Fly, Rome Flynn, and Sahbabii, to name a few.

In representing breakout artist Sexyy Red, Aurielle has set the precedent in the creation of the language and procedure for the clearance of the first AI Sample in Sexyy Red and Drake’s use of “BBL Drizzy” in their song “U My Everything.” Additionally, Aurielle has assisted in negotiating Sexyy’s first national tour showing her versatility and further building upon her already significant repertoire of artists. During Aurielle’s time working with Bobby Shmurda, Aurielle handled the termination of his deals with Epic and Roc Nation. In doing so she was able to directly assist Bobby in navigating and negotiating his first album as an independent artist. In her work with her photography label/agency, Collective Gallery, Aurielle also produced a shoot for Bobby with Hot New Hip Hop serving in both spaces for him. She has also handled the negotiations of NBA Youngboy’s record number of 10 albums in one year alone.

Continuing her work with her agency Collective Gallery, separately from her law practice, Aurielle has assisted the team in partnerships with Atlantic Records, Athlete’s Foot, Puma, several record labels and partners. As leadership for the company, Aurielle serves as the Vice President and General Counsel of the first ‘record label’style company for photographers. Collective Gallery represents photographers and places them in high quality positions to work with top brands, companies, and celebrities. A few of the clients they have worked with over a short time include: Netflix, Big Boi, Airbnb, Revolt Festival and much more. Most notably they have handled full production for the Nike Yardrunners campaign for four years in a row, worked with Budweiser on Lil Baby’s FIFA campaign and renewed their partnership with Athlete’s Foot.

Named as one of Forbes 30 Under 30, one of the Top 100 attorneys in America, and a certified Master in Negotiations by Harvard, Aurielle has negotiated deals that have generated millions of dollars for her clients. Additionally, she has been recognized as a Rising Star on the Georgia Super Lawyers List five years in a row, Forbes The Culture 50 Champions List, Billboard Top Music Lawyers and Women in Music, Variety Deal Makers List, Hitmakers, and The Revels Group Black Future Now List. Aurielle sits on the board of non-profit organizations which fights against human trafficking and domestic violence, the Women to Women Committee of the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and is also an advisory board member of the organization Songwriters of North America. After making a shift from full time running her company to practicing law,she now spends herspare time mentoring law students.
