Maya Day, Esq. is Counsel in the Business and Legal Affairs Department at BET Media Group (Paramount Global). Serving as production legal for over 27 television series and films, in her current role in the BET unscripted group she drafts talent and production services related agreements in connection with tentpole programming (BET Awards, BET Hip-Hop Awards, and Soul Train Awards), unscripted series for BET and BET +, and BET News content.

Prior to joining BET, Maya was an Associate Attorney at Bruns, Brennan, Berry, Pikulin & Jacobs PC (3BLaw) where she drafted talent and above-the-line personnel agreements for production companies such as BRON Studios, Jax Media, and A24.

Maya holds a B.A from The George Washington University and a J.D. from Howard University School of Law. She is an active member of the Black Entertainment & Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA), Young Lawyers Division and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated.
