Songhay Taylor is the Estate Manager at Primary Wave Music, where he leads strategy, partnerships, and brand development for the Prince estate and collaborates on initiatives for other legendary artist legacies, including the James Brown estate. Based in Los Angeles, he works closely with estate partners to shape long-term brand vision, develop creative projects, and design experiences that honor and expand the reach of iconic music.

Before joining Primary Wave, Taylor was Global Marketing Manager for Universal Music Group’s Urban Catalog Division and held key marketing and commercial roles at BMG, EMI, and Capitol Music Group. Valued for his creative vision, thoughtful strategy, and trusted relationships within the music and entertainment community, Taylor’s work bridges cultural relevance and commercial success.
