Kaleisha Stuart
Deputy General Counsel, Dallas Cowboys
As Deputy General Counsel of the Dallas Cowboys, Kaleisha spends her time negotiating agreements, managing litigation, and using creative problem-solving to mitigate risk. Her key areas of focus include sponsorship, merchandising, live events, NFL rules, and real estate. Her contributions have garnered notable recognition, including a 2024 Sports Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree, a 2024 DFW Corporate Counsel Award for Diversity and Inclusion winner, a 2022 NFL League of Leaders program participant, a 2021 WISE Women of Inspiration Feet on the Street award winner, and a 2019 Dallas Cowboys Brand Values Award recipient. She is a sought-after thought leader, sharing her expertise at prestigious conferences, on podcasts, and at law schools including Stanford, Tulane, and the University of Florida. Kaleisha also co-created and co-teaches an advanced-level sports law class at SMU Dedman School of Law. As a native Texan and west coast lover, Kaleisha holds an Economics degree from Texas A&M University and a J.D. from Stanford Law School. Kaleisha began her career as a capital markets associate at Jones Day Dallas.
