Thanks for your interest in serving as a volunteer! There are a variety of positions that support the conference from setting up and breaking down, to registration to CLE workshop monitors. The volunteer support team is a key element to our; BESLA relies heavily on our student volunteers!
Each candidate must meet the following requirements for consideration:

Read the following BESLA’s Code of Conduct found here,

Be a BIPOC student enrolled in law school on a full-time basis,

Have completed at least one (1) full year of enrollment at an accredited law school,

Have a minimum cumulative law school grade point average (“GPA”) of 2.8, and
We will consider applicants with GPAs of 2.5-2.7, but special consideration will be given to those who meet the higher requirement.

Have demonstrated a sincere interest in entertainment law, sports law or a related field of study through one (1) of the following:
Completion of a law school course in entertainment, sports law or a related course (intellectual
property, media, digital media, antitrust, etc.);
Completion of an internship or clerkship in entertainment law, sports law or a related field;
A current job in the field of entertainment or sports;
Current membership in an entertainment law or sports law society/ association;
Attendance at an entertainment law or sports law seminar or conference since enrolling in law school.

To be considered as a student volunteer, please complete the below application (include your resume,
your most recent unofficial transcript and a business/professional headshot at least 300 dpi).
If you are accepted as a team member, you will be notified via e-mail. If accepted you will be required to
be available for set-up & breakdown.
