Adell Henderson is a team oriented and dedicated multimedia professional with 30 years of work experience.

The Publisher recently launched AcknowledgeMINT, the culture's premium business lifestyle magazine, which celebrates the best in Black professionals, experiences and destinations. The publication’s print premiere issue includes features on The Gathering Spot founders Ryan Wilson and TK Petersen, EVP/Chief Culture Officer at Atlanta Braves, DeRetta Cole Rhodes, PhD., popular hip-hop hoarder turned influencer Larry ‘Nuface’ Compton and Patchwerk Studio co-owner Curtis Daniel.

As Chief Culture Officer of Georgia State University’s CINEMA Project, Henderson spearheads fundraising initiatives that will increase revenue, increase brand awareness and introduce new strategic partnerships. CINEMA (Careers in New Emerging Media Areas) is an exciting transformative workforce development initiative that will train and provide new opportunities to 18-24-year-olds who are disconnected from work and/or education to obtain entry-level jobs in Information Communications Technology (ICT) fields (e,g, digital media production, film/TV production).

Adell currently serves as an advisory board member for the Morehouse College Human Rights Film Festival (MCHRFF), and RYSE Creative Village, a dynamic, techenabled content production studio and development incubator specifically designed for creatives in Georgia’s film, entertainment, gaming, and digital media industry.

Previously as Vice President of Multimedia Content and Programming at Real Times Media, he is currently responsible for spearheading program ideation, digital network strategy, and lead Real Times Media’s production arm, Studio 1452. He also oversees national news infrastructure, and the strategic vision for national content opportunities within the company's five Black-owned news organizations, the Atlanta Daily World, Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine, the Chicago Defender, the Michigan Chronicle, and the New Pittsburgh Courier.

He made decisions about creative programming, ranging from services offered by 3815 Media, Inc on podcasts, digital, social media, Money Making Conversations newsletter, and radio stations. He produced digital video and audio packages to promote recap and archive community outreach initiatives.

While at Black Entertainment Television, Adell coordinated with senior staff to produce original programming pilot sizzle reels for Being Mary Jane, Second Generation Wayans and TD Jakes Presents: Mind Body and Soul. He also captured exclusive behind-the-scenes footage for network and digital distribution for The Game, Sunday Best, Apollo Live, Let's Stay Together, Reed Between the Lines and The Mo'Nique Show. During his tenure, he wrote pre-show and post-show episodic related articles for online distribution in addition to producing videos with show

talent for original digital programming and creating flipbook galleries. Adell also oversaw a portion of creative services for TV shows via social media including Facebook and Twitter.

As a Digital Producer for Central City Productions, Adell created and implemented a digital production plan for the nationally syndicated TV series: Black College Quiz. His services included producing contestant video profile packages for broadcast and digital, capturing exclusive behind the scenes footage, produced and edited online video packages with student participants, as well as producing a series of ‘Stop the Violence’ PSAs for broadcast and digital.

As a founding Editor of KING Magazine, as well as RIDES Magazine, Henderson developed content for 100+ issues with a combined circulation of 350,000. He oversaw and coordinated correspondences ranging from editorial cover stories to advertorial campaigns, booked talent, and conducted interviews in areas including entertainment, sports, automotive, news and politics.

Adell graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Degree in Interpersonal Communications. While attended MSU, Henderson also served as an elected student government director for Black Notes, a minority video productions organization funded and operated within the Associated Students of Michigan State University.
