Marjorie Williams, Esq.
SVP, Business & Legal Affairs, Skydance Sports

Marjorie Williams is a recognized industry leader who currently heads the Business & Legal Affairs team at Skydance Sports (the joint venture between Skydance Media and the NFL that produces documentaries, feature films, and television series including The Kelce Project,  Hard Knocks Giants: Offseason and the upcoming Hallmark Kansas City Chiefs Holiday movie). Her duties also straddle operations and corporate strategy.


Prior to joining Skydance Sports, Williams was recruited to help launch a boutique entertainment law firm where she represented A-List actors, showrunners, writers, directors, producers, production companies and rights holders in film, television and new media. Williams was previously a senior business affairs executive at Amazon Studios and United Talent Agency; and also worked at Endemol Shine North America and Viacom (Comedy Central and BET Networks).


In addition to serving on BESLA’s board, Williams is on the board of USVETS and HBCUinLA/NY/ATL. She is a frequently sought after panelist and has received numerous awards/honors including being recognized by the National Bar Association as a Top 40 Lawyer Under 40, a Woman of Influence by the LA Business Journal, and a National Black Lawyers Top 100.


Williams is a Los Angeles native who holds a B.A. from Howard University, M.A. from the University of Oklahoma, J.D. from Loyola Law School, and an Executive M.B.A. from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business. She recently retired as a Major in the U.S. Air Force Reserves with 22+ years of combined active duty and reserve service.


Williams is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
