Aziza A. Bowser, Esq.

Senior Counsel, Production Risk Business and Legal Affairs, Paramount Global

As Senior Counsel in the Business and Legal Affairs Department with Paramount Global, Aziza Bowser oversees Production Risk for both scripted and unscripted productions. Her client groups include Vh1, MTV, BET, Logo, Paramount +, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon as well as multi-platform, digital and Ad Sales teams. Aziza is responsible for assessing production risk for live productions and reality TV shows including, The MTV Video Music Awards, MTV Movie Awards, The Love and Hip Hop franchise, Black Ink Crew Franchise, Catfish, Ru Paul’s Drag Race Franchise, Wild N’ Out, The Daily Show, Unplugged, and Storytellers, just to name a few.


A proud alum of an HBCU, Aziza Bowser received her Bachelor of Science and Juris Doctorate degrees from Florida A&M University (FAMU).


Aziza is the recipient of The NY FAMU Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award and the FAMU College of Law Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Excellence in the Private Sector.


As one of the leading experts in her field, Aziza has served on several panels within the Entertainment and Music Industries. A range of topics include Women’s Leadership In the Music Industry, Production Risk, The Use of Marijuana On-camera in Scripted and Unscripted Content, Child Labor in the Entertainment Industry, and Best Practices for Artist: Navigating Immigration and Visa Issues.


Aziza sits on the Board of Directors for The Black Entertainment and Sports Lawyers Association (BESLA), where she serves as board liaison to the Film and TV Division; President of the Board of Directors for The Bessies (The NY Dance and Performance Awards); an active member of the NY FAMU Alumni Association; The National Association for Multi Ethnicity in Communications; a member of The BEAT (Paramount’s Black Employee Affinity Team); a member of Paramount’s Law Department’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee; in addition to being a wife, mother, and mentor.
