As Senior Counsel, Production Risk, Business and Legal Affairs with Paramount Media Networks, Aziza Bowser oversees Production Risk for more than 45 channels (domestic and international) including Vh1, MTV, BET, Logo, Paramount +, Comedy Central and Nickelodeon as well as more than 2000 television and multi-platform shows a year. Aziza is responsible for assessing production risk for live productions and reality TV shows such as The MTV Video Music Awards, MTV Movie Awards, The Love and Hip Hop franchise, Black Ink Crew Franchise, Catfish, Ru Paul’s Drag Race, Wild N’ Out, The Daily Show, Unplugged and Storytellers to name a few. 

A proud alum of an HBCU, Aziza Bowser received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida A&M University as well as her Juris Doctorate from Florida A&M University College of Law. 

Aziza is the recipient of The NY FAMU Alumni Association’s Distinguished Alumni Award, as part of Viacom’s Corporate legal team, received the Corporate Counsel’s Best Legal Department Award and is a proud recipient the FAMU College of Law Distinguished Alumni Award for Professional Excellence in the Private Sector.

As one of the leading experts in her field, Aziza has served on several panels within the Entertainment and Music Industry, including VH1 Save The Music, and The NYC Mayor’s Office of Media & Entertainment’s Divas Behind The Music Summit, which was a discussion on women’s leadership in the music industry with the Presidents of Epic Records, Roc Nation and ASCAP. Additional other panel topics Aziza has participated on throughout the industry include production risk, the use of marijuana on- camera for both scripted and unscripted content, child labor as it pertains to minors in the Entertainment industry as well as best practices for Artist regarding immigration and visa issues.
