Registration Policies:
Once you’ve registered for a BESLA program, you will receive a confirmation email.

BESLA registration fees include course written materials and scheduled meals/receptions, if applicable. They do not include housing, travel or personal expenses.

Cancellation Policy:
Registration cancellations must be received in writing via email to info@besla.org. Registration fees are non-refundable. BESLA will issue credit to be used toward future BESLA programming in the next 12 months from the date of your cancellation. Credit may be transferred, but written notification of transfer via info@belsa.org must be received from the original purchaser. Credit for programming purchased in 2023 will expire November 30, 2024.

Attendee Substitutions:
Substitute attendees are accepted. Please email registration information for the substitute attendee by Wednesday, October 25, 2023 5pm PT to info@besla.org with the subject line: “BESLA 2023 Conference Substitution.”

Health and Safety:
BESLA will continue to follow the guidance of The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) as it relates to COVID-19 and other communicable diseases along with country, state, local and venue requirements to meet safely.

By registering, you understand that attending a BESLA Conference you choose to accept the risk of being exposed to COVID-19 or other communicable diseases. You agree that you are personally responsible for your own safety and actions while attending BESLA Conferences.

By registering, you and your successors and assigns hereby forever release, waive, discharge, BESLA, its board of directors, agents, servants, affiliates, employees, successors, and assigns (collectively the “Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, and causes of action whatsoever, directly or indirectly arising out of or related to any loss, damage, or injury, including death, that may be sustained by me related to COVID-19 or other communicable disease while participating in any activity associated with BESLA Conferences.

By registering, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties from and against any and all costs, expenses, damages, claims, lawsuits, judgments, losses, and/or liabilities (including attorney fees) arising either directly or indirectly from or related to any and all claims made by or against any of the Released Parties due to bodily injury, death, loss of use, monetary loss, or any other injury from or related to attendance at BESLA Conferences specifically related to COVID-19.

Image Release:
Your registration and attendance at this event indicates your consent to be recorded, photographed, and videotaped related to the event, and you irrevocably and perpetually authorize BESLA to copyright, publish, reproduce, exhibit, transmit, broadcast, digitize, display, otherwise use, and permit BESLA to use (i) your name, image, likeness, and voice, and (ii) all photographs, recordings, videotapes, audiovisual materials, writings, statements, and quotations of or by you obtained related to the recording of the event (collectively, the “Materials”),in any manner, form, or format whatsoever now or hereinafter created, and for any lawful purpose, including, the advertising or promotion of BESLA and/or the event without further consent from or payment of any kind to you. You understand that BESLA is under no obligation to use the Materials. You agree that all of the Materials, and all films, audiotapes, videotapes, reproductions, media, negatives, photocopies, and electronic and digital copies of the Materials are the sole property of BESLA and you further agree not to contest the rights or authority granted to BESLA hereunder.

Your Information:
BESLA may use your contact information to register you for its events and provide you with information on upcoming programs and member promotion. Your mailing address may be disseminated to BESLA sponsors for meeting promotion purposes. In no event will BESLA share your phone, fax, or email address.
